Wildernizzle was an exciting camping experience where campers and staffers bonded with each other over camp activities such as hikes, camp olympics and camp games. Campers and staffers traveled from all over California to participate in an outdoor experience where the simpler aspects of life were appreciated and nurtured at Malibu State Creek park. Eayikes spent the weekend sharing life stories over camp fires and learning from each other how to be more selfless in serving their own communities.
Campers and staffers were divided up into guilds where they would bond together over campfires. Each guild included staffers and campers who all shared a common interest but differed in personalities. The diverse backgrounds and personalities in each guild allowed for the entire Eayikes community to interact and connect within smaller groups, where everyone learned the value of their own personal story and how it inspired others to share their own.
All staffers and campers were active participants within the camp community. All Eayikes helped setup camp, prepared food, and learned how to contribute in a positive way towards the Eayikes Community. The campers attitudes and contributions to the camp community really helped create an open and free environment where all Eayikes felt like they belonged within the camp community.
Camp games are always a great opportunity for everybody to let out their childlike-wonder out and get silly! Campers and staffers participated in games that allowed all Eayikes to engage and connect through laughter and fun-filled moments. Games included: Ship To Shore, Walk The Line and Hallelujah.
On the second day, the Eayikes community went on a 2.5 mile hike around Malibu Creek State park where rivers were crossed, hills were climbed, and frisbees were thrown.
Camp Olympics takes camp to the next level with its campers vs staffers competition! In our First Camp Olympeayikes, hosted by special guest Levi Schultz, campers and staffers faced off in intense battles of staring competitions, electric relays, spelling bees, and more.
