Meet Sugetree Jeffiyama….camp villain. Sugetree was the product of our childlike wonder. Thanks to the meticulous months of planning by our staffers, we created a live action story experience on the ranch compound we were staying at during our 2014 Communitaaaay! Camp. On the last night of camp, campers had to solve mysteries around the ranch following clues while working together as a group to defeat the heinous Sugetree Jeffiyama, who had stolen all of the staffers' childlike wonder and turned them into zombie adults. It was truly a beautiful adventure to witness unfold in many ways. To see the camaraderie and trust of the campers to work and come together while being put in mysterious and unknown situations, and the absolute joy and love the staffers acted, executed, and played to make such a meaningful and layered experience for all. It ended with a final battle, where campers had socks to throw at Sugetree in order to defeat him and release all the childlike wonder back to the camp. It was magical!
