Wilderwonder helps young people build friendships, exercise their wonder, and cultivate social-emotional well being!

Wilderwonder is a 3-day overnight camping experience for youth ages 13-20 from diverse backgrounds and socio-economic statuses to foster childlike wonder, develop vital social and emotional learning skills, and build community with their peers. Wilderwonder deepens campers’ self-awareness & self-esteem, helps them identify their greatness and recognizes how their gifts can positively transform themselves and the world around them.

As educators and youth mentors, we’ve witnessed the loss of normalcy and in-person connection in our young people and their communities since the start of the pandemic. Wilderwonder is our space and community time to bring that back to our young people - a safe, encouraging space to be themselves and to connect with each other. Starting with Wilderwonder, our goal is to create more spaces and events for young people to connect and build healthy community.
